Welcome to the Home Page of the Clare & Josef Meier Young Vocal Artist Competition!!!
This event is co-sponsored by the Black Hills Chamber Music Society, and the Dakota Choral Union, Rapid City, SD.
Our Mission:
This contest is open
to all high school students in South Dakota, Eastern Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.
We welcome home-school students,
private school students, and public school students.
The contest is adjudicated by a panel of University Vocal
Professors. All contestants are required to prepare three pieces, with only one piece being in the English Language.
